Sutherland won the Rothmans Limited Overs Knockout final by defeating Manly-Warringah at Hurstville Oval.
Sutherland 135 off 30.1 overs (Alan Griffiths 33, Colin Dodd 22, Graeme Marston 21) d. Manly-Warringah 77 off 24.7 overs (Ted Cotton 4-17, Glen Bailey 4-24, Bob Bain 5 cts).
At one stage, Manly were 3/65 but lost their last seven wickets for 12 runs.
