Mark Brindley took 4-29 in the second innings in 5th Grade vs Sydney University B at St.Paul’s. Added to his 6-29 in the first innings the previous week, it gave him match figures of 10-58.

Devlin Malone took 10-115 in 2nd Grade v Sydney University at Glenn McGrath Oval – the Club’s best bowling figures. He took 6-23 in the first innings the previous week to give him match figures of 16-137 – also the Club’s best bowling figures for a match. He took the last two wickets in the first innings, so he took 12 consecutive wickets. Sydney University had been premiers for the previous two seasons and had been undefeated for 31 matches prior to this match. Sutherland won outright: Sutherland 181 & 4/177 d. Sydney Uni 88 & 268. The remaining team members were: Doddapaneni Raj, Joel Brockley, Dylan Smith, Peter Saroukos, Scott Pickering, Matthew Hughston, Luke Hawksworth (w/k), Nathan Whittingham (capt), Jason Hayward & Tom Pinson.
