Max Carr-McCarron – son of Chris McCarron (33 matches 2001-04)

Lachlan Clark – son of Stuart Clark (192 matches 1990-04)

Jack Heslehurst – son of Dean Heslehurst (81 matches 1990-01)

Blake Mackrell – son of Adam Mackrell (31 matches 1992-95)

Thomas Shehhy – son of John Sheehy (23 matches 1990-92)

There are also three nephews of former SDCC players:

Ashton Frazer – nephew of Phil Jaques (258 matches 1996-14)

Jack Heslehurst – nephew of Murray Heslehurst (126 matches 1995-07)

Sam Niumataiwalu – nephew of David Niu (64 matches 1984-89)

And there is one grandson and great nephew of two former SDCC players (twins):

Sam Newton – grandson of Warren Moodie (113 matches 1972-80) & great nephew of Brian Moodie (deceased – 45 matches 1972-81)
