If you would like to trial, please complete this nomination form AWG Nomination Form and return to sutherlandcricket@gmail.com by Friday 7 March at the latest.
Please bring spikes and rubber-soled shoes, as we have turf and synthetic nets.
Please note that a large number of nominations are expected and not all nominations will be accepted. Sutherland DCC’s policy for the AW Green Shield is to use the competition as a pathway to the NSW Premier Cricket competition. Winning the competition is not our sole focus. We therefore favour local juniors and players from areas close to Sutherland Shire who are more likely to continue playing for us after they have finished Green Shield.
We strongly advise players from areas that don’t adjoin the Sutherland Shire to try out for AWG teams in your local or nearby areas. We are most unlikely to accept your nomination to trial with us.
We are allowed to pick up to two country-based players in our squad. The above policy does not apply to country-based players.
