NSW Metro 8/273 cc (AW 9, AB 59) lost to ACT/NSW Country 8/274 off 49.5 overs (AW 2-67 off 9.5)

NSW Metro will now play South Australia in the 3rd/4th place playoff tomorrow (Thurs).

The NSW Metro team has finished the six-round pool stage of the Under 19 Championships undefeated and will play ACT/NSW Country in the semi-final on Wednesday. Details of the pool matches are as follows:

Day 1 – NSW Metro 4/406 cc (Austin Waugh 5, Aiden Bariol dnb) d. Northern Terrritory 238 off 49.4 overs (AW 1-27 off 6).

Day 2 – NSW Metro 8/321 cc (AW 17, AB 1) d. Queensland 133 off 26.5 overs (AW 1-40 off 7, AB 3 ct).

Day 3 – NSW Metro 5/330 cc (AW 49, AB dnb) d. Cricket Australia XI 206 off 43.3 overs (AW 0-15 off 3, AB 4 ct).

Day 4 – NSW Metro 9/274 cc (AW 62no, AB 3) d. Vic Metro 113 off 32.4 overs (AW dnb).

Day 5 – NSW Metro 2/173 off 32.5 overs (AW & AB dnb) d. Tasmania 171 off 46 overs (AW 1-24 off 6).

Day 6 – NSW Metro 5/314 cc (AW 65, AB 63) d. Western Australia 6/309 off 50 overs (AW 1-45 off 9, AB 1 ct).
