The annual Presentation Night returned to Tradies Gymea last Friday night after last year’s virtual presentation of awards due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The winners of the major awards were as follows:
– Bob Every Encouragement Award – Andrew Ritchie
– Ken Gardner Memorial Award for U/16 Player of the Year – Luke Cutcliffe
– Margaret Mann Memorial Award for U/21 Player of the Year – Justin Green
– James A. Daly Memorial Award for Player of the Year – Daniel Fallins
– Ted Cotton Memorial Award for Players’ Player of the Year – Zac Philipson
– Tom Iceton Club Person of the Year Award – Malcolm Trees
Winners of the Performance Awards were as follows:
– Batting Aggregate – Chris Williams (660 runs)
– Batting Average – James Hawksworth (436 runs @ 72.67)
– Bowling Aggregate – Tom Straker (37 wickets)
– Bowling Average – Tom Straker (37 wickets at 11.65)
– Most Catches by a Fieldsman – Chris Williams (14 catches)
– Most Wicketkeeping Dismissals – Ethan Deal & Cody Philipson (24 dismissals)
Other awards presented were:
– Tradies Encouragement Award (AW Green Shield) – Sam Fitzgibbon
– Coaches’ Award for Best Trainer – Fletcher Graham
– 200 matches in all grades – Tom Doyle, Daniel Fallins
– 200 wickets in All Grades – Ben Dwarshuis
– Mounted Ball for 7 wkts in Inns – Will Straker, Kieran Weatherall
– Century awards – Joel Almond, Tom Doyle (2), James Hawksworth, Josh Horner, Callum Weatherall, Chris Williams (2)
In addition, premiership caps were presented to the 4th Grade premiership team.
