Tom Straker stars in U19 World Cup semi-final

Australia won a thriller in the Under 19 World Cup semi-final against Pakistan overnight, with Tom Straker starring in a man of the match performance. Tom took 6-24 off 10 overs as Pakistan were dismissed for 179. He surpassed Kagiso Rabada’s record of 6-25 for the best bowling figures in an Under 19 World Cup semi-final or final (set in the 2014 semi).

Australia then passed Pakistan’s total with 9 wickets down and 5 balls remaining, finishing on 9/181 after being 9/164. Sam Konstas scored 14 and Tom a vital 3. They now play India in the final on Sunday night, starting at 7pm our time. Coverage is available on Prime Video.
