Congratulations to Sam Konstas, who scored 105no off 120 balls (12 fours) for Australia U/19 in the 2nd ODI vs England U/19 yesterday. Australia scored 3/264 off 42.2 overs to beat England’s 263 all out off 45.5 overs. The first ODI was washed out on Saturday, with Australia 1/30 off 6 overs (Sam 9no) in reply to England’s 8/151 off 39 overs in a rain-reduced match. The next ODI in on Thursday.
Unfortunately Tom Straker was injured before the first ODI, after he split his head open in a head clash with another player during a soccer match in the warm-up and then injured his ankle as he hit the ground, ruling him out of the remainder of the tour.
