Since 1965
The Club’s Presentation Night was held at Tradies on Friday 17th May. Two members of The Grade Cricketer trio, Sam Perry and Dave Edwards, acted as MCs for the night and they proved to be highly popular with their brand of cricket humour.
The highlight of the night was the Special General Meeting held just before the main course was served, when the meeting approved a change to the Club’s constitution to allow life members to be elected at special general meetings convened for that purpose, rather than being restricted to only considering such nominations at the Annual General Meeting. The meeting then unanimously elected Lee Prescott as a Life Member for her 27 years of service to the Club as scoreboard operator at Glenn McGrath Oval. The attached photo shows Lee being interviewed by Tom Iceton after being presented with her life membership mirror.
Premiership caps were also presented to members of the 1st Grade T20 and 5th Grade teams.
